Plum olive
This variety is primarily cultivated in the Northern Kynouria region of Arcadia, with smaller quantities grown in Argolis. Known locally as “Gaidoureli” due to its relatively large fruit size, the plum olive produces cylindrical-conical fruits with a distinctive tip. Each olive typically weighs between 4–14 g, most commonly 6–10 g. Perfect for table consumption or gourmet recipes, this Greek olive variety offers rich flavor and a unique Mediterranean character.
