Metsovone Smoked – PDO Cheese from Metsovo

Metsovone Smoked is a semi-hard, smoked PDO cheese from Metsovo, produced using the Pasta filata method and aged for approximately 3 months. It is traditionally smoked while hanging and tied with a string, made mainly from cow’s milk, or a blend with sheep or goat milk (up to 20%).
